Kate Muir is the Managing Director of Florissant. Throughout her 25-year career as an executive human resources director, lawyer, mediator, coach and facilitator, she has led local and transnational teams, advised organisations of all sizes, and coached senior executives on people strategy and leadership.

Kate works with leaders, teams and organisations to improve business and personal outcomes through effective strategy implementation and individual development. She consults in strategic human resources, effective leadership and team effectiveness across a wide range of industries.

As a business and personal coach, Kate actively supports clients in identifying personal and professional priorities, overcoming barriers and taking action for change.

Kate is an accredited mediator (NMAS), MBTI® certified practitioner and MEWS® accredited practitioner. She mediates workplace conflict, and works with individuals and teams to resolve differences constructively, and to improve the effectiveness of their conversations and relationships.

Kate’s mediation expertise also helps her coaching clients to deepen their understanding of communication and conflict styles and to develop lateral solutions to their challenges.

Kate is a skilled trainer and business consultant. She has facilitated hundreds of development programs throughout Australia and the Asia-Pacific for large corporations and professional services firms. Her strategic design expertise in human resources diversity and inclusion programming has been recognised in multiple legal industry awards.
